Description
A collection of one box/two boxes of programmes from the McCann collection, from 19**. The collection contains programmes from concerts given in the United Kingdom. The programmes were collected by the concert agent Norman McCann (1920-1999).
The contents of the collection are as follows:
Royal Albert Hall – 61 programmes; 4 prospectuses
The collection includes three prospectuses (two annotated; one without annotations) and 12 programmes from Henry Wood Promenade Concerts.
There is one prospectus and six programmes from a Delius festival – entitled “Frederick Delius: a Festival of his works …”. This was held at the Royal Albert Hall and Central Hall, Westminster, in October to December, 1946.
