Description
A collection of one box of programmes from the McCann collection, from 1940 to 1941. The collection contains programmes from concerts given in the United Kingdom. The programmes were collected by the concert agent Norman McCann (1920-1999).
The contents of the collection are as follows:

Royal Albert Hall – 23 programmes
National Gallery – 30 programmes; press-cuttings
The programmes are from “National Gallery Concerts”, the war-time concert series organised by Myra Hess. There are also a few press-cuttings, which contain reviews of National Gallery Concerts.
