McCann Collection: United Kingdom (1929-1930)
A collection of one box of programmes from the McCann collection, from 1929 to 1930. The collection contains programmes from concerts given in the United Kingdom. The programmes were collected by the concert agent Norman McCann (1920-1999).

The contents of the collection are as follows:

Queen's Hall – 29 programmes; 4 prospectuses
The collection includes two programmes and one prospectus from the Henry Wood Promenade Concerts.

Royal Albert Hall – 7 programmes
The collection includes four programmes from the concert series "Special Sunday Concerts".

There is a band programme from Royal Tunbridge Wells, which represents multiple venues. There are two programmes from "Round Singers' Concerts": one programme the concert took place in St. Goar, and the other, Trier. However, the venue of the concerts is unknown. There are two programmes from "Village, Country Town, and School Concerts". Though the programmes indicate "Kent tour" and "Herts. Tour" respectively, the concert venues are not known. There are four other programmes where the venue is either unspecified, or the name of the venue is given without geographic qualification.
