Description
A collection of 32 programmes from Wolverhampton, from 1908 to 1986. A significant part of the collection dates from the 1940s and 1950s.
The collection includes a number of programmes from concerts given in the Civic Hall. In addition there are a number of programmes from concerts given in the Wulfrun Hall, in the 1940s. Other venues represented in the collection are as follows: Agricultural Hall; Baths Assembly Hall; Grand Theatre; St. Martin's Church; Theatre Royal; Wulfrun Hall.
There is a programme where the venue has not been specified. There is also an advertising circular for a series of concerts organised by the Wolverhampton and Staffordshire Technical College.

The collection is arranged by venue, then by date. Programmes without venues and multi-venue prospectuses are at the end of the sequence.

Building Information
The CPH collections now form part of the RCM Library. The majority of the concert programme collections are stored off-site so you need to request items before arriving. Requests for programmes are processed on Thursday for delivery to the library the following week. The Library itself is open Monday to Friday during term times and Tuesday to Friday during vacations.
