A collection of two boxes of programmes from EIRE. Though the earliest programme is from 1866, the collection is largely from 1931 onwards. The collection includes one and half boxes of programmes from the Wexford Festival (later the Wexford Festival Opera), from 1957 to 1994. The remainder of the collection is chiefly from concerts given in Dublin, with a few items from Cork, Kilrush and other towns and cities. The earliest programme in the collection is from a concert organised by the Royal Dublin Society in 1866. There is also a nineteenth-century programme from Trinity College Dublin.
The collection is divided by town/city, then by venue, then chronologically.

The CPH collections now form part of the RCM Library. The majority of the concert programme collections are stored off-site so you need to request items before arriving. Requests for programmes are processed on Thursday for delivery to the library the following week. The Library itself is open Monday to Friday during term times and Tuesday to Friday during vacations. We can advise you about our hours when you contact us.
