A collection of three boxes of programmes from Australia. The collection includes one box of programmes from Sydney. The collection contains programmes and prospectuses from 1907 onwards, including a number of items from the 1920s.
A large array of concert venues, towns and cities are represented in the collection. There are a number of programmes from Adelaide, Melbourne and Perth, including significant numbers of programmes from the Town Hall, Adelaide, Melbourne Town Hall and the Perth Concert Hall. Within Sydney, there are a number of programmes from the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Town Hall.
Some of the main organisations and ensembles represented by the collection are as follows: Victorian Symphony Orchestra; West Australian Symphony Orchestra; Quinlan Opera Company (1910s); Australian Opera; Sydney Symphony Orchestra; Australian Broadcasting Commission (ABC).
The collection is divided by town/city, then by venue, then chronologically.

The CPH collections now form part of the RCM Library. The majority of the concert programme collections are stored off-site so you need to request items before arriving. Requests for programmes are processed on Thursday for delivery to the library the following week. The Library itself is open Monday to Friday during term times and Tuesday to Friday during vacations.
