Description
A complete set of programmes with words for the twelve performances given at the Theatre Royal, Covent Garden between January and March 1822, under the management of Mr Bochsa. Also, a programme with words for a Grand Selection of Sacred, Antient and Modern Music, given at the same venue on 25 May 1822.

These were all three-part concerts. With the exception of that on 15 March, the first two acts consisted of selections from one or more oratorios (see below) whilst the third was a Grand Miscellaneous Act, typically made up of Italian operatic excerpts. There are also a number of instrumental solo/concertante pieces, generally performed 'between the acts'.

All programmes include a list of the vocal soloists and all concerts featured Mrs Salmon, Miss Goodall, Mrs Bellchambers, Mr Pyne, Mr Nelson, Mr Tinney, and Master Longhurst.

The following singers appeared at all concerts except those given in brackets:
Mr Hawes and Mr Sapio (6 March), Madame Ronzi De Begnis (15 March), Mr Begrez (15 and 29 March), Mr De Begnis (15 and 22 March), Mr Bellamy (27 February and 6 and 27 March), Signor Placci (15, 22 and 29 March), Miss Stephens (6, 20 and 27 March) and Madame Camporese (27 February and 6, 13, 15, 20 and 27 March).

The following singers appeared only on the dates given in brackets:
Madame Vestris (30 January, 27 February, 6 and 15 March and 25 May), Miss Povey (30 January, 27 February, 6, 20, 27 and 29 March and 25 May), Signor Ambrogetti (30 January, 22 February, 13 and 29 March and 25 May), Signor Cartoni (1, 8 and 29 March and 25 May) and Signor Torri (6, 20 and 27 March and 25 May).

Any additional singers are listed below.

All performances were conducted from the organ by Sir George Smart and led by Mr [Henry] Smart. The choir was directed by Mr Watson and included choristers from the Chapel Royal, St. Paul's Cathedral and Westminster Abbey.

30 January 1822
Selections from Handel, The Messiah (act I) and Rossini, Moses in Egypt (act II), the latter being given for the first time in England. Additional vocalist: Mr Higman.
At the end of the First Part: A Concerto on the Violoncello, by Mr Lindley, composed expressly for this Occasion.
Between the Second and Third parts: Richa, Fantasia on the Corno Bassetto, Mr Willman.

22 February 1822
C. Bochsa, The Deluge, A New Sacred Oratorio, composed expressly for these performances (acts I and II).
Between the Second and Third Parts, a Pot-Pourri, Violino Obligato, Mr Mori, by Mayseder.
This document carries a single handwritten correction to the printed programme, indicating that Signor Placci was replaced by Mr Braham.

Selections from Handel, L'Allegro ed Il Pensieroso (act I) and Alexander's Feast (act II). The Miscellaneous Act of this concert included 'several favourite Compositions, including some Pieces from Rossini's celebrated Sacred Oratorio of Moses in Egypt' and concluded with a 'Selection from the Original Music, by M. Locke, in Macbeth'.

Selections from a MS. Serious Drama entitled Bajzet (act I) and Handel, Israel in Egypt (act II), the former being performed for the first time in this country.
