Collection Description

Collection Title
Susi Dell collection: Wigmore Hall programmes (2002-03)
Unique Identifier
Mus. 321 c.1
Description
A collection of prospectuses and programmes for performances given at the Wigmore Hall, London, between January 2002 and December 2003, held as the fourth of seven boxes comprising the collection of Susi Dell.

The majority of the concerts documented formed part of either the Master Series or the Director's Festival. The box also contains programmes for five further concerts given at the Wigmore Hall and a number of monthly leaflets outling the performances at the venue during this period.

Unless otherwise stated below, all programmes (and prospectuses containing programmes) include information about the venue, notes on the works performed (with words where appropriate), and biographical notes with photographs.

Many carry handwritten annotations, which provide Dell's observations on the performance, including a record of any encores performed. Some programmes are held with press cuttings/printed reviews and/or concert tickets.
