1. Oxford Philharmonic Society
With the exception of that on 13 February 1884 (held at the Corn Exchange), all concerts were given at the Sheldonian Theatre. They were conducted by Mr Taylor, with the soloists listed below (vocal, where not otherwise stated). The programme for 12 June 1882 includes some extended historical and analytical notes (with musical examples). Where no other indication is given below, these were two-part concerts, typically with the first part devoted to a single, extended choral piece and the second more miscellaneous in nature.

These concerts were conducted by Mr W. Howell Allchin (1877-81), C. Harford Lloyd (1882 and 1885) and J. Varley Roberts (1886 and 1889), with the vocal soloists listed below. 3. Oxford Choral and Philharmonic Society
These concerts were conducted by J. Varley Roberts (1891-93) and F. Cunningham Woods (1894-95) and were given with the vocal soloists listed below. Where the programmes carry a venue, this was the Sheldonian Theatre.
