Description
A miscellaneous collection of handbills and programmes for performances given by the Oxford Orchestral Society between 1959 and 1967 at various venues in Oxford and the surrounding area, arranged chronologically and pasted into a single scrapbook.

Accompanying the programmes are press cuttings for the concerts and additional handwritten notes on the performances, including lists of the orchestral ensembles. Also, photographs and various printed documents regarding the organization and running of the Society, including term cards with provisional programmes.

Only those performances for which printed concert programmes are held are listed here: information about additional performances may be acquired from the press cuttings and/or handwritten records.

Programmes are listed here by venue, with the Oxford city-centre venues followed by those in the surrounding area.
