A miscellaneous collection of handbills, posters, programmes and other printed documentation relating to musical and dance performances given in Oxford and Oxfordshire since the start of the twentieth century.

The material is all held loosely and is boxed by year as follows:
1978-80; 1981-84; -1983; 1984; 1985; 1985-86; 1986 (x3); 1987; 1987-88 (x2); 1988; 1989; 1990 (x2); 1991; 1992 (x2); 1993; 1994 (x2); 1995; 1996; 1997 (x2); 1998 (x2); 1999 (x2); 2000 (x2); 2001; 2002; 2003; 2004; 2005 (x2).

The material is principally concerned with city-based performance ensembles and/or series and covers concerts of all forms, from choral and orchestral performances through solo and chamber recitals to jazz, folk and pop concerts.

The Oxford city-centre venues include the Town Hall, Sheldonian Theatre and various College, church and educational establishments. Programmes are also included for a vast array of surrounding towns and villages, including Abingdon, Banbury, Bicester and Witney.

Particularly for the later period, the majority of the material consists of handbills and/or A4 posters. A detailed entry is provided for the box -1983, which includes programmes from as early as 1903.
