The fourth and last box comprising the collection of the English pianist Kathleen Markwell, containing handbills and programmes for performances given at unknown venues between 1917 and 1935.

[no date]: two settings of poems by Thomas Hardy, written and accompanied by John Ireland and Hubert J. Foss and given by John Goss and the Cathedral Male Voice Quartet (handbill, 2 copies).
[undated]: Dorothy Silk and John Goss (vocal).
6 May and 4 November [no year]: Informal Music Club performances, given by John Goss (vocal) and Robert Soetens (violin) and accompanied by Markwell (handbills).
8 May 1917: Joan of Arc Day/A Pageant of Fair Women, organized by Madame Clara Butt.
1 May 1918, [Fulham?]: Mrs Harry Bedford and Miss Beatrice Harrison, accompanied by Frederick Kiddle (with words, 3 copies).
24 July 1918 [Fulham]: Song and Pianoforte Recital by Mrs Harry Bedford and Markwell (with words).
29 March 1919: Mr S.J. Ching (piano), Markwell (vocal) and Mrs George Lubbock (violin).

Building Information
The CPH collections now form part of the RCM Library. The majority of the concert programme collections are stored off-site so you need to request items before arriving. Requests for programmes are processed on Thursday for delivery to the library the following week. The Library itself is open Monday to Friday during term times and Tuesday to Friday during vacations.
