The programme and wordbook for a performance of Handel, Messiah, given at Westminster Abbey on 29 May 1784 as the third Handel Commemoration Concert.

This document provides detailed information regarding the personnel involved, including complete lists of the vocal, choral and orchestral performers, conducted by Mr Joah Bates with Mr John Ashley (assistant conductor).
