Description
A miscellaneous collection of handbills and programmes for performances given at various unidentified or unidentifiable venues in Germany between 1899 and 1977, held loosely as a single box, listed here in chronological order.

Also included here are mounted press cuttings providing programme information about operatic performances given at the Königliches Schauspielhaus on 6 and 27 December 1902 and 1 and 29 January, 19 February, 28 May and 22 June 1903.

18 October 1902, Musenhaus, Pirnaischestrasse 29 [Dresden]: Lieder-Abend, Augusta L'Huillier (programme with words).

21 October 1902: [no venue]: 1. Philharmonisches Concert with Bertha Morena and Ferrucio Busoni (with words).

28 October and 15 November 1902, Musenhaus, Pirnaischestrasse 29 [Dresden?]: Klavier-Abend, Clotilde Kleeberg/Alfred Reisenauer (handbills).

13 January 1910, Deutscher Verein für Kunst und Wissenschaft: Perceval Allen, Frederick Austin and Margery Bentwich.

19 January 1932, Odeon: I. Meister-Konzert by Edwin Fischer (piano) with the Berliner Kammerorchester (handbill).

16-30 September 1935 and 1-15 October 1935: Repertoire der Bundestheater (2 leaflets)

23 April 1936, Grosser Konzerthaussaal, Lothringerstrasse 20: BBC Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Adrian Boult (with notes, photographs and a list of the orchestral ensemble).

1952/53, Komödie [Berlin?]: Paul Burkhard, Feuerwerk, Musikalische Komodie (with notes and photographs) and Gastspiel Lucienne Boyer (with words).

9-20 November 1969: V. Internationaler Robert-Schumann Wettbewerb (poster).

26 April 1972, Staatsoper: Jules Massenet: Manon (handbill plus programme with words, notes, biographical notes and photographs/illustrations).

19 January 1973, Erholungshaus: English Chamber Orchestra with Martha Argerich (piano), conducted by Charles Dutoit (with biographical notes, list of the orchestral ensemble and photographs).

12 May 1977, Stadthalle: BBC Symphony Orchestra with Ida Haendel (violin), conducted by Charles Mackerras (with notes, biographical notes, photographs and a list of the orchestral ensemble).

13 May 1980, Erholungshaus Großer Saal: BBC Symphony Orchestra with Heather Harper (soprano), conducted by Gennady Rohzdestwensky (with words and notes).

[no date]: Geistliche Abendemusik des Thomanerchores, directed by Günther Ramin (double-sided handbill with words).

[no date]: Handel, Rinaldo (handbill plus programme with notes and illustrations).

Building Information
The CPH collections now form part of the RCM Library. The majority of the concert programme collections are stored off-site so you need to request items before arriving. Requests for programmes are processed on Thursday for delivery to the library the following week. The Library itself is open Monday to Friday during term times and Tuesday to Friday during vacations.
