Both the brochures and the programmes include historical, programme and biographical information and contain a number of photographs and illustrations.

The performances were given principally at the Prinzregententheater, the Nationaltheater and the Alten Residenztheater (Cuvilliéstheater), Munich. Further programmes for festival performances may be found under entries for these individual venues.

This material is accompanied by a collection of press cuttings taken from the Münchener Kunst und Theater-Unzeiger, which provide programme listings for operatic performances given at the Prinz-Regenten Theatre, the K. Hof- und National-Theatre and the K. Residenz-Theater between 1909 and 1913. These are held loosely in a second box.
