Description
Programmes for four seasons of the Queen's Hall Symphony Concerts given by the Queen's Hall Orchestra between 1897 and 1904, bound as four volumes (one volume per season).

These were two-part orchestral performances, conducted, unless otherwise stated below, by Henry Wood. Certain concerts were dedicated to the work of a single composer and many included works being performed for the first time in England.

All programmes include Historical and Analytical Notes (with musical examples) and provide a list of the orchestral ensemble. From 1902, programmes also include photographs of the principal performers.

Volume 1: 1897
30 January (Schubert); 6 February (Wagner); 20 February (Tchaikovsky); 27 February; 20 March; 3 April; 24 April (Brahms); 1 May (Grieg); 8 May (Beethoven); 15 May (Tchaikovsky); 22 May (Wagner); and 29 May.

Volume 2: 1897–98
23 and 30 October, 6, 13, 20 and 27 November and 4 December 1897.
15, 22 and 29 January, 5, 12, 19 and 26 February, 5, 12 and 19 March 1898.
This volume also includes programmes for additional concerts given by the same ensemble on 15 June (Tchaikovsky) and 22 June 1898 (Wagner).

Volume 3: 1902–03
The names in brackets are those of replacement conductors.
25 October (Edouard Colonne), 8 November (Emil Paur), 22 November (Edward Elgar) and 6 December 1902 (Richard Strauss and Henry Wood).

Volume 4: 1903–04

The concerts on 28 October 1903 and 1 January 1904 were conducted by Emil Paur.
This volume also includes programmes for additional performances given by the same ensemble on 28 October and 2 December 1903 and 2 February 1904.
