A box of loose programme books for BBC Symphony Concerts given by the BBC Symphony Orchestra at the Queen's Hall London in 1930. Also, programmes for concerts on 14 December 1928 and 10 April 1935 and a prospectus with programmes for the sixth season of concerts, 1929-30.

All documents carry historical and analytical notes with musical examples (the majority by D. Millar Craig), photographs of the conductor and/or soloists, and lists of the orchestral ensemble. Where appropriate, they also include texts for any vocal/choral pieces and lists of the choral ensemble.

In addition to notes on the works performed, many programmes also contain additional historical or biographical essays. Some carry minor handwritten annotations and those for the 1930-31 season include biographical notes on soloists scheduled to appear during the remainder of the season.
