A collection of programmes and handbills for performances given in the Duke's Hall, Royal Academy of Music between 1938 and 1965 and at the Royal College of Music between 1939 and 1965, held loosely and arranged chronologically within the Ernst Henschel collection (1892-1966).

3, 17 and 31 October and 14 and 28 November 1938: Five Chamber Concerts of works by Mozart (single document, 2 copies) (box 25).
2 February 1939: RAM String Orchestra, conducted by Herbert Withers (box 26).
26 February 1942: Chamber Concert (box 27/i).
25 May 1944: Committee for the Promotion of New Music Third Experimental Rehearsal, with the Jacques String Orchestra, conducted by Reginald Jacques (box 27/i). There is also a 'comment sheet' used at this event.
7 April 1948: Thomas Wood, Chanticleer (first performance), given by the Fleet Street Choir, conducted by T.B. Lawrence (box 30/i).
4 November 1948: Chamber Concert (box 30/i)
5 May and 2, 13, 16 and 27 June 1949: Five Chamber Concerts of the works of Haydn, given under the direction of Herbert Withers (single document, 3 copies) (box 30/ii).

30 March 1951: Royal Academy of Music Second Orchestra, conducted by Ernest Read (box 31/ii).
31 May and 11 June 1951: Twenty Five Years of British Chamber Music nos. 2 and 3, directed by Herbert Withers (with further document containing programmes for five performances in the series, the remainder given on 17 May, 25 June and 12 July) (31/ii).

31 March 1957: British and American Music given by Frederick Grinke (violin) and the London Senior Orchestra, conducted by Ernest Read and Frank Zimmerman (box 34/ii).
26 September 1957: Piano and Cello Recital (box 34/ii).
28 March 1962 and 21 March 1963: Hallé Orchestra, conducted by Maurice Handford, given for Associated-Rediffusion, in association with the Society for the Promotion of New Music and the Hallé Concerts Society (box 36/i and Box 36/ii).
1 May 1964: Music by Cyril Scott, presented by the Cyril Scott Society (box 36/iii).
20 March 1965: London Repertoire Orchestra with Pauline Little (piano), conducted by Dr Ruth Gipps (box 36/iii).

23 May 1939: Handel, Joshua given by the Handel Society, with Stiles-Allen, Gladys Ripley, Webster Booth and Norman Walker (vocal), conducted by Reginald Goodall (box 26).
4 February 1944: Committee for the Promotion of New Music Second Experimental Rehearsal, with the London Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Constant Lambert (box 27/i).
24 June 1944: University of London Musical Society Invitation Concert, including the first London performance of Britten, Rejoice in the Lamb (box 27/i).
7 December 1961: Society for the Promotion of New Music 232nd Recital, given by the Cirencester Grammar School Choir and Orchestra and consisting of original music composed at the school, introduced by Peter Maxwell Davies (box 35/iii).
25 January 1964: Music in Education, with the London Co-operative Children’s Choir, Kingsdale Comprehensive School, Dulwich, Middlesex Youth Choir and the London Co-operative Instrumental Ensemble, conducted by Graham Treacher (box 36/iii).
