A collection of handbills, programmes and prospectuses for performances presented by the London Philharmonic Arts Club and given at Fyvie Hall, The Polytechnic, Regent Street, London in 1944 and 1945, held loosely and arranged chronologically as parcel 1 (1944) and parcel 2 (1945) of box 27 of the Ernest Henschel collection (1892-1966). This collection also includes a programme for the Ninth Concert of the International Arts Guild, given at the same venue on 19 July 1945.

June and September [1944]: prospectus, with outline programmes for the Tuesday and Thursday performances, with an individual handwritten programme for the concert on 20 July 1944, given by Joan and Valerie Trimble (pianos) and including the first English performance of Rachmaninoff, Symphonic Dances op.45.
April, May (two copies), June and Autumn 1945 (two copies): prospectuses, with outline programmes.
27 September 1945: Antony Hopkins (piano) and the Blech String Quartet, including the first performance of A. Hopkins, Pianoforte Sonata No.2 in F sharp minor.
11 October 1945: [London] Ensemble Singers.
25 October 1945: Jeanne Manchon-Théis (piano) and Winifred Roberts (violin).
8 November 1945: Gertler String Quartet.
15 November 1945: Myra Verney (soprano), Norbert Brainin (violin), Peter Gellhorn (piano), Phil Cardew (clarinet) and Paul Blumenfeld (cello).
13 December 1945: Morley College Choir, conducted by Michael Tippett, with Barbara Hill (piano).
