A collection of analytical programme books for concerts presented by the Western Orchestral Society Limited and given by the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and/or the Bournemouth Sinfonietta at various venues in the United Kingdom – principally the Winter Gardens, Bournemouth – between 1955 and 1974, bound chronologically in fifteen volumes. Also, selected prospectuses for the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra (bound chronologically amongst the programmes) and a separate volume containing the eight editions making up volume 1 of the Magazine of the Western Orchestral Society (Winter Season 1972–73)
