A collection of programme books for performances given at the Royal Albert Hall and Royal Festival Hall, London and at Blenheim Palace and the Concert Hall of the Royal Northern College of Music in 1979 and 1980, arranged chronologically as a single volume within the papers of Sir Adrian C. Boult (1895–1977).

This volume concludes with a selection of Orders of Services, for events given in Birmingham, London – principally Westminster Abbey – and Portsmouth between
for events given principally at Westminster Abbey between 1930 and 1972. The musical content of these events is generally restricted to the singing of hymns.

Items are listed here by venue, with the concert programmes followed by the Orders of Service.

- London, Royal Albert Hall
8 April 1979: 90th Birthday of Sir Adrian Boult, presented by the BBC and given by the BBC Symphony Orchestra, Singers and Chorus with the CBSO Chorus and Sarah Walker (mezzo), conducted by James Loughran, Vernan Handley and Norman del Mar (flyer and programme with historical and analytical notes with musical examples, biographical notes with photographs and a list of the orchestral ensemble). The programme begins with an essay on Boult and provides a record of his discography.
3 May 1979: Final Appeal Concert in aid of the R.C.M. Junior Department International Capital Fund, given by the Royal College of Music Orchestra (Junior Department), with Karen Briscoe and Nigel Clayton (piano), conducted by Christopher Adey (with historical and descriptive notes, biographical notes with photographs, a list of the orchestral ensemble and various notes regarding the RCM Junior Department).

9 and 10 April 1979: A Tribute to Sir Adrian Boult on his 90th Birthday, given by the London Philharmonic Choir and Orchestra, with David Nolan (violin) and Jill Gomez, Alfreda Hodgson, Robert Tear and Stafford Dean (vocal), conducted by John Pritchard (Souvenir Programme with historical and descriptive notes, biographical notes with photographs and lists of the choral and orchestral ensembles).
22 October 1980: BBC Symphony Orchestra 50th Anniversary Concert given by the BBC Symphony Orchestra with Itzhak Perlman (violin), conducted by Gennadi Rozhdestvensky (with programme notes by John Warrack, biographical notes with photographs and a list of the orchestral ensemble). The programme includes various tributes to the BBC Symphony Orchestra, including an essay entitled '50 Years of the BBC Symphony Orchestra: a personal view by Nicholas Kenyon'.

7 March 1979: Commemoration Concert for Sylvia Spencer (oboe), conducted by Timothy Reynish (with extensive notes on Spencer, including a Tribute by Boult, and a list of the orchestral ensemble).

5 July 1979: A Concert to Celebrate the Centenary of the Firm and the Gaffer's [Sir Basil Blackwell] Ninetieth Birthday, given by the Northern Sinfonia, with James Dalton (organ), Gareth Hulse (oboe) and Sheila Armstrong (soprano), conducted by Jean-Bernard Pommier (with historical, descriptive and biographical notes).
