Description
1 folder containing around 50 rhaglenni (programmes) and detholiadau (selections/programme) for cymanfa ganu - singing festivals. Majority of songs are hymns. Cymanfa ganu (singing festivals) are concerts of hymns and songs led by soloists and a conductor, with the audience are participants. Many of these festivals take place in chapels. The collection includes a programmes for a cymanfa ganu held in Westminster Chapel, London. Also included are programmes for cymanfa ysgiliod (school singing festivals).

Collections Overview
The Welsh Music Information Centre, funded by the Arts Council of Wales, was re-established in 2000 under the auspices of Ty Cerdd. The Centre seeks to fulfil its role in promoting all genres of Welsh music through archiving, publishing and performance; development of international links through IAMIC, the consortium of 40 Music Information Centres worldwide; provision of information on Welsh composers and their music, in association with the Welsh Music Guild and Cyfansoddwyr Cymru/Composers of Wales. The centre holds a collection of scores by Welsh composers and misc. music of Welsh interest.
