The Rathmines and Rathgar Musical Society: 9 programmes from 1960-65

The Dublin Grand Opera Society:
18/4/60-14/5/60: 6 programmes for individual concerts in the Festival of Italian Grand Opera.
3/12/60-17/12/60: 1 programme containing all the information on the concerts in the Season of Italian Opera.
28/11/61-16/12/61: 1 programme containing all the information on the concerts in the Season of Grand Opera.
23/4/62-19/5/62: 1 annotated programme containing all the information on the concerts in the Festival of Italian Opera.
20/5/63-18/6/63: 2 programmes containing all the information on the concerts in the Festival of Italian Opera. One programme has a leaflet affixed for a 'Celebrity Concert' on 13/6/63 for Ferruccio Tagliavini's first visit to Dublin, and the pianist Mario Ceccarelli.
26/11/63-14/12/63: 1 programme containing all the information on the concerts in the Season of Grand Opera. One flyer for the season contained in the programme.
18/5/64-13/6/64: 6 programmes for individual concerts in the Festival of Italian Opera.
10/5/65-5/6/65: 6 programmes for individual concerts in the Festival of Italian Opera.
30/11/65-18/12/65: 4 programmes for the individual concerts in the Season of Grand Opera in English.

The Proms:
Series of 23 programmes from the Winter and Autumn Proms from 24/1/60- 12/2/62 with the Radio Eireann Symphony Orchestra; all held in the Gaiety Theatre except for two in the last season held in the City Hall, Cork.

1 programme from 21/4/63: Gaiety Theatre: Pietro Menci: Lieder and Operatic Recital.

Collections Overview
The National Library of Ireland has two collections consisting mainly of printed sheet music from the eighteenth to the early twentieth century. These include much material from the mainsteam western classical music tradition, but also material relating to little known Irish composers. The names of the two collections are the Joly Music Collection and the Additional Music collection. In addition the Library has a small but significant collection of music manuscripts. The general printed collections include some Irish ballad, folk-music and popular song collections.
