Edinburgh Orchestra Concerts: 1 volume (1907-11)
A bound volume of miscellaneous programmes (from the Donald Francis Tovey Collection) from the 21st and 24th seasons of the Paterson & Sons' Orchestral Concerts: McEwan Hall, Edinburgh. Each concert consists of the Scottish Orchestra conducted by Frederick Cowen (21st season) and Emil Mlynarski (24th season), with a featured soloist or ensemble such as the Edinburgh Choral Union, Antonia Dolores (singer), Mr. Moonie's Choir, Edouard de Reszke (singer), Wassily Sapellnikoff (piano), Mischa Elman (violin), Ernest Schelling (piano), Fritz Kreisler (violin), and others. Programmes contain lists of orchestral players, detailed analytical notes with musical examples, photographs of composers, conductors, soloists, and venue, and song texts and translations. There are also notes of first performances in Edinburgh. The last programme in the 21st season contains an index of works performed throughout the season, as well as a list of performers and conductors.
